Marilu Wood, M.A., Ph.D.

Marilu Wood currently teaches AP History of Art at Sidwell Friends School in Washington, D.C., where she also serves on the Curriculum and Technology Committee. She studied in Florence to earn her M.A., in Milan when she held a Fulbright Travel Grant/Italian Government Teaching Assistantship, and in Florence and Pavia when she was earning her Ph.D. in Italian medieval art history from Johns Hopkins University. Prior to her high school teaching days, Wood worked as a museum educator at the Walters Art Gallery in Baltimore and founded the education department at the National Museum of Women in the Arts.

Steve Hartman

Steve Hartman is the president and founder of Creativille, Inc. -- a communication design company specializing in corporate communications. Hartman works directly with corporate communications and investor relations departments for Fortune 500 companies. His design has been recognized by Communication Arts Magazine, Graphic Design USA, Print Magazine, the American Institute of Graphic Arts, and numerous design competitions.

Kelly McVearry, Ed.M., M.A.

Kelly McVearry is an artist and educator trained in the theories of cognitive-developmental psychology and neuropsychology, and in the assessment and instruction of children with developmental disorders. She pursued her interest in the relationships between the creative arts and cognitive and social development by completing a masters degree in Arts in Education (Harvard University), and a masters degree in learning disabilities (American University). She is now working toward a doctorate in neuroscience at Georgetown University and is the Program Director of DaVinci Days, a distinctive and pioneering arts and science program in Washington, D.C. that offers school-aged children mentorship experiences with extraordinary professional artists and scientists.
